Steven Paul Jobs was born in San Francisco, California on February 24 1955.

Young Steve grew up in a valley of apricot orchards that was already turning into the world center of computer technology: Silicon Valley.

In 196 Steve he met with a computer whiz kid who shared his interests in electronics: Stephen Wozniak — commonly known as Woz. Steve and Woz quickly became friends even though Woz was five years older.

This partnership was the beginnings of what later become Apple Computers.

Apple’s first year in business consisted of assembling the boards in Steve’s garage and driving to local computer stores to try and sell them. Meanwhile, Woz worked on a new, much improved computer, the Apple II, which he basically finished in 1977. Both Woz and Steve knew the Apple II was a breakthrough computer, much more advanced than anything the market had ever seen. That’s why Steve set out to find venture capitalists to fund Apple’s expansion. After a while, he made a deal with Mike Markkula, an enthusiastic former Intel executive who invested $250,000 in their business and assured them their company would enter the Fortune 500 list in less than two years.

The Apple corporation went on to develop technologies that changed all our lives. Steve was briefly ousted from Apple, but returned to rescue the corporation from a period of decline, prior to his death in October 2011.

From it's earliest days apple made highly desire products that you either loved or hated, the early years saw Apples computer products fight for market share along side Microsoft based computers.  apple products 300x199 Finding the Perfect AppleThe style conscious, the designer, graphic artists and architects always favored apple.  Apple was not the most prolific developer of products as Steve's philosophy was to have a small range of products that were truly exceptional.

Steve and Apples design team seldom got it wrong often inventing completely new products that people did not even know they needed. Apple had a knack of getting it right most of the time, maybe one of the only real failures was Apples first attempt at hand held devices when they introduced the Apple Netwon, years ahead of it's time and not really the best of apples products.

Apple went on to release market changing products like the IPOD, Itouch, Ipad, and the first smartphone to real get mass popular adoption the Iphone.

Apple has made some truly awe inspiring products and on this site we have brought together everything Apple like in a Tribute to the great Man Him self.
